Summer is typically warm and humid in the north-Atlantic. July temperatures average in the mid 80’s in the day and mid 60’s at night, often with overcast.
Bring casual and comfortable lightweight clothes, with a scarf, windbreaker or light sweater to transition into much cooler air-conditioned spaces. Wear a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and sunglasses for activities outside and plan accordingly for field trips. Umbrellas are useful to have handy for the occasional shower and scorching sun as well.
