Getting there

Bridgewater State University (BSU) is located in Southeastern Massachusetts, 131 Summer Street, Bridgewater, MA 02325.


The campus is approximately:

  • 40 minutes south of Boston
  • 30 minutes north of Cape Cod
  • 50 minutes northeast of Providence

How to get there

Here are some options on how to get to the conference venue:

Travelling by Air

BSU is 26 miles from Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) and 25 miles from Rode Island’s T. F. Green International Airport (PVD), and Bradley Airport in Hartford, CT.

MBTA Commuter Rail

Bridgewater State is served by the MBTA

Commuter Rail. The Massachusetts Bay

Transportation Authority (abbreviated

MBTA and known colloquially as "the T")  takes about 45 minutes to get to campus

from Boston, via the Middleborough Line


The Bridgewater train station is located

at 85 Burrill Avenue; commuters cut

through the MBTA parking lot from the train station for easy access to the campus. 


The railroad tracks divide the campus in half between East and West campus.

Brockton Area Transit

The Bridgewater campus is served by Brockton Area Transit (BAT) with five daily round-trips Monday through Friday into BAT’s main hub, BAT Centre. 


Once on campus, Bridgewater State University Transit Service operates a free on-campus bus shuttle

Visitor Parking

There are different parking options for visitors. You may purchase temporary passes to park within BSU campus.


MBTA Parking: Closest parking to lodging at Weygand Hall, 200 spaces, adjacent to the building
