Diana Marques (Membership Secretary)
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Diana Marques was encouraged from a young age to travel and explore beyond boundaries. Throughout her career she has pursued a broad range of professional experiences, working as a scientific illustrator and animator, teaching at a university and exhibiting in an assortment of settings.
Through her doctoral studies, the recent adventure into digital media research has added to her knowledge in mobile technology production and user experience with mobile devices and augmented reality. She gets to combine technology with scientific illustration, animation and design.
Linda M. Feltner (President-Elect)
Linda M. Feltner is an award-winning nature artist and educator. Linda has instructed for the University of Washington Scientific Illustration Certification Program, and currently teaches for the Art Institute of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. She holds a Master of Arts degree, and is a Signature Member of Artists for Conservation and the Society of Animal Artists. Her home in the Sky Islands of southeastern Arizona provides awe-inspiring biodiversity right outside her studio window.
