A Palette of Plant Colors - Camille Doucet

Event Date:
November 10, 2018 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

A Palette of Plant Colors with Camille Doucet
GNSI Finger Lakes Chapter member.  One day workshop, November 10, Saturday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

In this workshop for artists of all skill levels, we’ll explore the fullest range of colors available from a limited number of tube colors, producing a color chart that you can use as a reference for creating beautiful botanical illustrations, and other works. In methodically mixing each pigment with all the others, we come to experience and understand how pigments behave -- a useful technique for anyone who wants to use color reliably and skillfully.

Registration is open for this workshop, presented in partnership with the Cornell Botanic Gardens, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.  Also check out: Coquille Board Botanicals - Scott Rawlins offered the previous weekend.

ALL current GNSI members who register will receive a 15% discount- enter the promo code GNSI when prompted on the checkout screen.   If you are a member of the Cornell Botanic Gardens, additional discounts apply.
