Scientific Illustration Distance Program -Spring 2018

Session II-Pen and Ink 
Pen and ink is a staple for scientific illustrators. This class gives you an opportunity to immerse yourself to proficiency. Pen and ink, crowquill, line and wash techniques, composition, scratchboard, working from life, professional practices, final projects, practice with preparing and sending artwork digitally. The course includes handouts, tutorials, weekly live video conferencing, small classes, and individual attention. Beginning and intermediate students. 
Tuesdays, March 27-May 29, 2018  1:00pm or 7:00pm  Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

Session III-Color 
This course is devoted to developing expertise in color media and composition. Watercolor, colored pencil, digital options, advanced compositions and projects, professional practices, preparation for internships/independent studies, handouts, tutorials, live video conferencing, email. Students who have completed Sessions I and II, repeat students, or advanced students with permission.
