Oregon GNSI Members Exhibit 2018
Oregon Group GNSI members open a new exhibit this month. The event opening at the Walters Cultural Arts Center will be used as a vcuse to offer a evening af differnt events for the community:
- Flamenco Guitar
- Introduction to the wild life of Jackson Bottom from Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Nature Program
- Arts and crafts activities for the whole family,
- Sponsored refreshments, including light sweets
- Browse wares at a Pop-Up Shop featuring Jewelry, ceramics, and prints by members of GNSI
All are invited to attend this free public event!

The Flora and Fauna of Jackson Bottom
Eleven artists from the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators are featured in this exhibit celebrating the 635-acre Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve, home to more than 150 bird species; mammals such as bobcat, beaver and brown bats; and numerous native plants. The exhibit opening, during Hillsboro’s First Tuesday Art Walk, will include flamenco music, jewelry and ceramics, an ecology talk and other activities.
